薄すぎて、今にも折れそうな岩「ポテトチップ・ロック」（写真9枚）

アメリカのサンディエゴにある岩「ポテトチップ・ロック」を紹介しよう。この岩は、薄すぎて、今にも折れそうに見えます。しかし、こう見えて、頑丈な岩です。

写真で岩に乗っているのは観光客です。この岩は小高い山の山頂にあり、約4.8kmの山道を登れば、誰でも岩を見ることができます。今まで何人も岩の上に乗っていますが、今のところ、折れていません。意外と頑丈な岩ですね。


尚、ポテトチップという名前ですが、もちろん、食べられません（笑）
